The Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center is an example of modern design: the roof, whose wavy, wing-like shapes create an iconic image. We added the exterior construction material, beta pink in a shiny and flamed finish.
by architect Larry Oltmanns, the building has seen an extension since its inauguration in 1997: three exhibition halls, two theaters, 52 meeting rooms, seven restaurants, shops, galleries and other spaces publish the base of the building, involving the center with its lively urban context.
This project, thanks to its unconventional construction finished in 2009, broke local construction records, winning world-wide awards believed to be a major architectural feat.
